Basically, this is to all those people that have no idea what exactly is going on in the world. Across the North Atlantic Ocean lies the continent of Africa, Sudan being one if it's countries.
As you are reading this, an extermination is taking place in Darfur, Sudan.

No, not the extermination of insects, and extermination of people.
Since this "extermination" started, 400 thousand people have been murdered.
Not to mention the hundreds of thousands that were:
-raped
-displaced &
-slaughtered
The name we give this mass murdering: genocide.

Darfur has been embroiled in a deadly conflict for over three years. At least 400,000 people have been killed; more than 2 million innocent civilians have been forced to flee their homes and now live in displaced-persons camps in Sudan or in refugee camps in neighboring Chad; and more than 3.5 million men, women, and children are completely reliant on international aid for survival. Not since the Rwandan genocide of 1994 has the world seen such a calculated campaign of displacement, starvation, rape, and mass slaughter.

What You Can Do To Help
There is PLENTY people can do to help this situation:
- visit the website Genocide Intervention.net
- visit the website Standnow.org
- S.T.A.N.D. is selling t-shirts for only ten dollars! By wearing a t-shirt you are helping raise awareness of this issue and the money you spend goes to an organization that is devoted to helping the suffering people in Darfur. There are many other items sold on this website such as hats, wristbands, DVDs, car magnets, etc.
Merchandise that will support Darfur
- You can buy bulks of t-shirts and sell them and donate the money. This would be a good idea for a school club, fundraiser, or if you just want to sell them to friends. If people see other people wearing these shirts many of them will want to learn more about what is going on in Sudan.
Students Against Genocide.org
- Go on the website www.savedarfur.org and fill out a postcard that is sent to President Bush on-line. The more people that send these cards, the more motivated Bush will be to do more
- Write a letter to Congress. It can be sent on-line and tips of what to write are given on the site:
Democracy In Action.org

Ignorance is no longer an excuse.
