One
of the reasons why the web is such a powerful media is how it connects people
despite of the physical distance between them. You can talk to your new friend
in Asia as if he was your next door neighbor. A missionary in Africa can blog
about a specific need or new project he has and minutes later people who are
connected to his ministry can be texted on their cell phones about the
missionary’s new blog.

Lightstogether
wants to leverage on that to create a global community of believers, extending
our view of the church beyond the walls of the local congregation.
